There’s No Place Like Home

Every time I go home a weight lifts off my chest. It’s like I survived an endless jourey that nobody could escape. My home is my safe place. In the kitchen, I smell yummy food that my mom cooks. I hear laughter at the table. I tasted yummy pizza that everybody loves and enjoys. I see everybody having a great time and enjoying life. In my room I feel all the cozy blankets laying on top of me. I hear my rain water lamp on my bedside table. My room is the best room in the house (in my opinion). In my TV room I hear all the movies and shows we have watched. I see everybody cuddled up in blankets. I smell fresh popcorn. That is why I think there is no place like home.
