What Dom (Home) Means To Me

When I come home from school I hear my dog whining, my oven beeping, my fish bowl bubbling and music playing, my dogs paws clacking against the floor, my mom doing laundry. In my backyard I hear birds chirping , squirrels jumping and bunnies running. My Babcia (Grandma in polish) yelling polish I can not understand but I think she is saying welcome home, I missed you. These are the sounds of joy that makes me calm and happy. When I come home I smell food! My Mom and Babcia cooking, (they are amazing chefs and they make great meals for me. ) I smell my dogs terrible breath, 3 wick candles, dish soap, soap in the bath and coconut shampoo and conditioner. In Poland I can smell the pine trees and fresh water (since I live in a forest) I can smell all the pine cones and sap of the forest and river and that makes me feel so happy and loved. A home is a place where I can feel safe and my home is especially special. My home is a place where I can feel happy and home is a place that will never be forgotten and never change. My home is a place where I can relax and be calm. And that is the Meaning of home to me!
