Protected Inside and Out

When the door opens, I enter inside, breathe in, and know my family and I are home. As we eat together, we are bunched up close together, laughter and the feeling of joy and happiness. We talk about our day, making new memories, and bringing up old ones. As we eat, in the background our bunny munches on hay. Home is the sound of keyboards clicking and movies playing. We gather once more to play a board game, going through the intensity of the game but then the happiness of the winner exploding in cheerfulness. Win or lose, it is just for fun together. Our home isn’t a house; a house can only get you so far. But the home is always with you. But as long as you're alongside your family, the home comes with you.
