The Meaning Of Home
Have you ever asked yourself what is the true meaning of home? Well this is what i think it means from my perspective.
When I step through the doors and step foot in my apartment after a long day of school I feel happiness, sleepiness, hunger and relief. Home is a place where you can practice religion, rest, be happy and be yourself. The most important parts about the word (home) are family and memories. I remember when I first got here in Canada we had pizza nights every friday and movie nights. My parents, siblings, cousins and my grandparents play a huge role in my life.
Here's a bit more about my family just like i said they all play a huge role in my life. I have my parents, older brother and my two younger brothers who age from 12-5 months old. Some memories with them are birthdays, family events and lots more to add.
Siblings are ALOT fun to have sometimes there, your best friend or your biggest rival and my dad. He gives me annoying chores and all but he's one of my favorite persons in my life and my mom is like my home teacher she gives me tons of advice about mistakes and many more. Those two are one of the most important people in our lives you and mine acting as a teacher and a mentor
I've learned many, many things from them. They all have been with me since my first tears, my first steps and my first breaths. They've been with me since day one. Some of the things I've learned are talking in my native language, walking, respect and love. I could list many more but it would go on forever. Without them I wouldn't be where I am today. This evidence helps what the true meaning of home means to me.
My final thought on this is that this is the true meaning of home. I know that some kids don't have the same feeling as I do. And I'll say it again: what does the word (Home) mean to you?
