The Meaning of Home

Most people think a home is just about where you live, but there is so much more that lies underneath the meaning of home. Home is the place where I feel safe, safe enough to play games with my friends and family, safe enough to eat my food peacefully, and safe enough to talk to my parents about things that make me feel insecure, and home isn’t about where, it's who. Home is about the people that live inside it. It doesn't matter if you live on a farm, or if I lived on the moon! What matters is the memories a family can have, the love and calming charm of kind family members. “A light at the end of a tunnel” as some might say, a gleam of hope, that is what matters. And it not only holds hope, it holds my feelings and thoughts too. Home is the place where I can express my feelings, the place where I can run to bed and tell my family members how my day was, the place where I can be as sad or happy as I want, and the place where I can hug my family. So, home isn’t about where or how, it's about the memories and people that make it home.
