My home protects me

My home is the best for me and it means a lot to me. It's like my palace where I feel welcomed and wanted the most. When I come back from school with a rough day it's like happiness wraps around me. It's like I can do the things I want to do. I don't have to worry about everything; it builds new memories that make me forget the terrible ones. As I walk in the house the smell of food wraps around me, I can't deny eating the food, and it makes me go to the kitchen. It feels like the first thing I think of is the yummy steak and fish that makes me feel like I am appreciated. My home protects me from petrifying thoughts and feelings. It makes me feel like it's a new day. In the kitchen I see the biggest plates in the world with anything you want sugar salty and sour. As soon as I see the couch it's like the spot I want to be there all day. I lay there and play cards, watch TV and think about what I want to do tomorrow. It is usually fun. The best of all in the house is the bedroom's magical picture frames wonderful dreams that might happen. My cozy bed is the most soft and comfy thing ever. When I sleep with my blanket, I feel like I am protected and I can’t be harmed. My house is not just a building, it's where you have dreams, memories and more. It is like the beginning of the things you want to do, all those laughs and feasts that's what makes a home not just the building. Everything in life starts somewhere where there is anything you would want in a home to have fun, especially someone to spend time with. That is the most important thing of all.
