My Apartment

My home is a safe place, and it protects my family and me. It is a happy place. The walls protect me from snow and rain, and my bed makes me sleep better. I could hear my family talking. I see the sky and the highway from my balcony. I Have a big couch In the kitchen I cook with my mom and dad. We cook dumplings, fried rice, soup, and we bake cookies. When we eat we talk about stuff, like how is your day and how is school. I do chores in the kitchen. It makes me feel relaxed. Also, in my room I snuggle with my blanket in my bed when I am sad because it makes me comfortable. My living room is special because we play games a lot there, we watch a lot of movies and me and my mom snuggle together, tell jokes, celebrate holidays, and celebrate special times like when it’s my birthday. It makes me feel that I belong. We play video games on my monitor with my friends. It makes me happy and it removes stress.
