WHAT MY HOME MEANS TO ME
My home is my safe place. It’s where I know my friends and family are near. It really means a lot to me. To me, it is not just built with bricks, but it is also built with the memories. It’s a place where so many things happen.
When you enter through the door, everything starts. First is the living room. Mostly everything you do is done there. It is also where all the fun is. I play games, watch TV, hang out there with my family. It makes me happy because I can do whatever I want in this room.
The kitchen is where all the food is made. No matter how my family makes it, everything is tasty. It is where I know that food will be ready soon. It makes me feel hungry when I see the delicious food being prepared.
The bedroom is where I sleep and relax when I am tired. During the night, when I wear the blanket, it makes me feel as if nothing can harm me. It makes me feel safe because I feel as if something is protecting me.
The study room is where my parents work for hours. It is where their free time is limited. They are only free after a long time, and we barely have time to spend with them when they are finished with their work. I like spending time with my parents, so I don’t really like this room.
Last but not least is the dining room, where I eat all the delicious food that my parents made for our family. It makes me feel grateful about all the wonderful food my parents made for us.
No matter where you are or how small the house is, it will always be a home for you, and the people inside always make it better.
