My Home is My Home
The way I feel about my home is unique to me because of the special meaning and variety of love spread throughout. This is a place where I can spend time with my family and friends but also where I can escape by myself in the quiet times of night or during unexpected times in a day. My home often looks like a maze or an obstacle course with all the clutter and chaos that it contains. This atmosphere sparks something inside me that inspires me to explore and solve every problem that life throws at me. It’s interesting to listen to the reckless play-fighting and screaming of my brothers along with the clattering of dishes being washed in the kitchen. As this is happening it’s as if my home has turned into an amusement park, with rides giving off loud noises and a musical vibe. When I pass by the mud room and catch a whiff of my hockey equipment it reminds me of the feeling of excitement that I get when I’m preparing for a game. It transports me to the dressing room with my teammates as we prepare to compete. In my room, I sleep soundly, as I enjoy the warmth of my three white pillows every night as my bed hugs me tightly to keep me safe. When I hug my pillows tighter and tighter, it lets me know that I am home and that my home is mine and no one else’s no matter what. My home is special to me and everything about it makes it a place that I love and cherish. This is my happy place, this is my fantasy of life, this is my home.
