The meaning of home

To me, home is more than walls and a roof. Home is the people around me that makes everything feel safe. When I walk into my home I know there are people who care for me .It is the feeling of love, comfort and happiness. The sound of my dogs' nails tapping, the smell of my freshly washed bed sheets. Me and my sister laughing endlessly at our weird games. If I am feeling sad or if I had a bad day at school, home cheers me up. All of my furniture makes my house feel like home. The celebration of holidays, waking up on Christmas morning, getting to open so many gifts and seeing my family's faces light up when they open theirs. My home is more than a house. That is why my home will always be the place where I can be myself.
