If Home Was For All

Home to me is love, hugs, and it’s a place where you should feel safe and cared for. If home was a sight, I think it would be a sunrise that has a beautiful blueish red in the sky that you would see with your family. I feel happy when I hug my family because I know they love me. If home was a sound, it would be the laughter of my sister because my dad burnt the eggs. I hear my stepdad play his guitar and it sounds peaceful. If home was a taste, it would be my dad’s pancakes, they are the best pancakes I have ever had. If home was a smell, it would be the smell of vanilla candles and tea that my mom makes. If home was a feeling it would be getting put to bed by my dad and being hugged. I am grateful for my beautiful home, and I wish everyone could have a home where they feel safe, protected, loved, and cared for by their family.
