Home What home means to me home is not just four walls to me it means a little bit more. Home means waking up to the smell of fresh pancakes made with love. As I follow the smell of fresh pancakes, I hear laughter and joy, which makes me feel happy. As I walk through the living room, I remember all the memories that were made here like family game nights or my first steps. As I sit in my bed, I feel the soft blanket, and it makes me feel safe. The smell of my room makes me feel cozy, safe, loved, and makes me feel like I can be myself. In the cold Canada winters, my home keeps me safe and warm from the snow, wind, and rain. My home is a safe place where I can learn who I truly am and who I want to be. My home is a place where I can come home and see familiar faces and talk all about my day. My hope is that everyone can have a safe and loving place to call home
