What Home Means to Me

Home means a family who loves you and a comfy spot to sit and sleep. I think everybody deserves a home to live in and parents or grandparents or stepparents that love you and give you a safe spot to live. Habitat for Humanity is providing people with homes so everybody can live in a safe and comfy home. I love my family because when I get off the bus my mom is always there to greet me and that always makes me happy. I also love my family because after a bad day they are kind and nice to me and cheer me up at home. They make my day better. That is why I love my family a lot because they provided me with everything, but especially a home to come home to and where I feel safe. I also love the smell of my mom cooking fresh and delicious meals or my dad cooking ribs or steak on the barbecue. I also love my family because after a bad day I can go home and play games and sports like basketball, soccer, hockey and baseball to cheer me up and make me happy. We have a yard and a downstairs to play in. I think everybody deserves to have a family who will love you and play sports or games with you and make a home for you. I love my pets because they give me hugs, play with me and make my day a lot better than it was. Having a home and yard is good for pets. They always make me happy and cheer me up after a bad day or good day. That's why I think everybody deserves a pet who loves them; however some kids can’t have pets because they don’t have a home. Pets are great and every kid should have at least one pet in their lifetime. I also like the smell of my dog after getting washed. I also like when he plays in the snow with me. Habitat for Humanity is helping provide money, services, supplies, time and expertise for people to get homes so that everybody can feel safe. EVERYBODY deserves a home so that they can play sports, feel happy and have parents or grandparents or stepparents who love you, over to the house.Thanks Habitat for Humanity for what you’re doing to help people have a safe spot to live and to feel happy.
