In My Home

A house and a home are two different things. A house is a place with a roof, a door, four walls and more. A home is a place that sounds very busy with people working and laughing. This is what home feels like to me. In my home it smells like my grandma cooking rice and chicken. It almost smells like a fancy restaurant where the food tastes heavenly. In my home it sounds like busy working most of the time. But, sometimes it’s joy and laughter. Sometimes we laugh until we can’t breathe. In my home it feels like a safe place where everyone is welcome. My home is the place where most of the things that are special to me are. Home is the place that I look forward to.
