A Home is Not a House
For me, home is not just a house, it's a place where I am supported and accepted. Home is where everyone understands me. It's every emotion I've kept inside all day until it finally comes out where no one will judge me. Home is not only about emotions, it's also about the people that make home feel like paradise in their own ways. Like every morning before going to school I wake up with the most pleasant smell of my dad making breakfast or trying new recipes. My kitchen is full of laughter and humour that makes me feel like all my problems stop for a few minutes. The "have a nice day at school!" or "I love you!" every day I can't explain. When my mom tells me '
"clean up your room!" It may seem frustrating for me but it reminds me my mom cares. My sister is my faourite part of the morning. Picture it like a movie. There's always the main character that makes the movie special in their own way. She fills my heart with laughter, joy and delight. The way she makes me feel like a story full of happiness and a little splash of crazy and calmness. Every memory and every pictured on the wall is like every time I flip the page in a story, new page, new memory. Every small communication with my family makes me feel at ease. Even If I move to a different house or building I know matter how big or how small, home will always follow you. For me, home is not about the house, it's about the people who make it special in their own way. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for reminding me what home is.
