My Home: The Beautiful Landscape of British Columbia

Home is not only a shelter. It's a part of life and culture. Home to me means the mountains. The mountains are my home. When I stand at the top of Whistler mountain and feel the breeze tickle me like a hug, and I look at the unbelievable backcountry before my eyes, I tell myself how grateful I am to live here, in British Columbia. When I ski my way down the mountain, I think to myself how much I love to live here, in BC. a place where I can go 30 minutes away from my home and be in the middle of a canyon in the woods, or go two hours from my house in the summer, to a mountain with no trees in sight! Home is not only your house or apartment. It is the landscape and culture and the people you share it with,(my parents and sister) home is not just my house on my street in my city, it's the beautiful landscape of BC. This is my home.
