What a home means to me

Home is more than a house. Firstly, home is a safe place and a comfort zone. When I am feeling down, one of my favourite places to go to is my room. It’s my haven because I can enjoy a moment of silence and relax. Secondly, home is a place where I build memories that last forever. I am thinking of the time when my parents brought my baby brother home for the first time. I was overjoyed when I saw him and since then we created so many memories together. Thirdly, a home is a place where I can just be myself and where I belong. It is my mommy’s home made food and my dad reading me a bed time story. My home is more than an address, it is where I am loved and where I start new chapters. In the home I care for people. I love my family, we play, we have so much fun but most importantly we are safe. In this house. I'm happy in the house because it keeps me warm and cozy. We have fun movie nights and eat popcorn, hot chocolate and look out the window at snow.
