Meaning of Home

Home is the sound of my mom’s calm voice waking me up early in the morning for school. Home is the smell of the candle my sister lights everyday to make her room feel extra cozy, and smell delicious. Home is the taste of my mom’s warm mint chocolate chip cookies that we all enjoy after dinner, watching our favourite show as a family. Home is the feeling of my cats soft and the sound of their soft meows and their sweet purring. Home is the sight of my mom making dinner and all of us at the dinner table sharing about our day. My home holds good and bad memories. My home is one of my favourite places to be, I am so lucky to have a home I feel safe and comfortable in.
