Meaning of Home

Home is made with love, home is where I want to be on cold winter days while drinking yummy hot chocolate by the fireplace watching the snow fall outside my window . If home were a sound it would, the sound of laughter, my family playing board games on Christmas night. The smell of turkey fresh out of the oven on Thanksgiving dinner. Or the smell of delicious dessert on my birthday. Sight of my dogs playing in the yard, while my brother and I bouncing on our huge trampoline, maybe even playing on our Nintendo switch. I love the taste of my mom and I’s homemade cookies for family and friends. Or when we make chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. I love to get warmed up on cold days while cuddling up with my dogs in bed or on my couch watching a movie in my heated blanket, possibly wrapped up like a burrito. On hot summer days, we set up lemonade stands to help people cool down with a cold drink to sip on. My home reminds me of love, love reminds me of my family and I love my family. The “meaning of home” is to make memories with the people you love. So just remember, home is where the people you love are.
