Home Is From The Heart

Home is a happy place, a place to be joyful always and where left or never ends. A home is built from happiness and hope. A house is built of walls and a roof. Home can have paintings on walls, lamps on tables, plants on the Cozy carpet, and wind chimes outside. A house has an empty feeling. Home can make you feel safe and loved. A house is cold and dark. A home has the famous smell of hot chocolate and love. A house smells bitter. A home has a dozen cookies fresh from the oven. A home is a quiet place that remembers us, walls breathing old laughter, windows watching storms. home smells of peace and warmth, sounds like a hum from a lullaby, yet still ask nothing. Home is a friend, one who says nothing over and over, slowly the paint fades but it's still there, not to an eye but it's there. Home is like a person; it helps us through the hard times. home has a place in life one we may not always recognize but it's there and always will be sometimes we just need to find it. My home is a place I love and cherish, the place that is safe, a place that holds me, my family and my memories. So to me a home is a safe place, a place I hold dear in a place I love so much.
