A Home

A home is more than just a building or a bed. A home is a place where you can feel comfort as you lay in your bed. Memories are all around you but you might not see them. They can be picture frames on the walls, each a different memory. From vacations to playdates each one has a different memory. Family members too. Many people live with their Dad, Mom and even siblings but some may live with other members of their family. Or it can be the smell of your Grandma's apple pie. A house can be how you can read peacefully in your bed every night. It could be how your family has a game night full of snakes and ladders every sunday. Or how your sister screams at you to play. It could be how your pets watch you walk home from the bus wagging their tails. It doesn't have to be an exciting memory, it could be how your dog sleeps with you every night. My home is how my cats greet me with a meow every time I come home from school. Home is a different place for everyone.
