The Meaning of Home
Home to me is like the sun, brightly shining every day. Home makes me feel warm and welcomed. Even if the sky is raining or it is as sunny as can be, I will always be home. My home isn't just a structure, it is a happy place for me and my family. My home provides me with a warm hug when I am down. Home can be many things to a person for example it can be a soft cozy place for them to lay down on. What does home mean to you?
Some examples of what makes my home a home are my pets. They are always there for me whether I had a rough day or a good day. They always make me feel great. My house makes me feel safe and protected. I have lots of joy and happiness at my house. My home has lots of giggles and laughter from all the funny stories. It feels like the sun is just so much brighter in my home. I am so glad I have essential things in my house like clothes, food, water, and medicine. When I'm in my home I see lots of kind loving people.
I have a lot of people in my life that make everywhere feel like home. I have my mom, my dad, and my sisters. They all help me in many ways like my sisters help me be better at video games. My mom helps me bake food, and my dad helps me with homework.
Home is very important to me. It helps me grow in life. I like to connect with my family when I'm home. We tell each other about our day, or we tell funny stories or jokes. My dad makes the funniest jokes even though their dad jokes.
Home is always a fun place. When it's snowy I like to chill by the fire and read a book or play a game. The funnest times are when me and my family get upset during a board game like Dungeons and Dragons. When school is over I always go home. The first place I go is home.
