Home is Not Just a Building

Home is not just a building, home is not just a place. Home is where you feel special, home is where you feel like a star. That’s what home means to me. Home is not just a cold place you walk into everyday after school, home is the place where you can kick up your feet, watch movies, have flickering lights on and just feel safe. Home is not just the place it's mostly about who or what you feel safe with. Home can be where you and your family have lots of adventures. For example in my house we like to play Cops and Robbers me and my brother go in my room put a white small baby gate across the door and my Dad and Mom go into the living room and me and my brother sneak out of the room.They have to capture us and bring us into the room. My home is also when my best friend Teegan comes over. She's my best friend and we have made many special memories together. Teegan is a small blonde haired girl with crystal blue eyes that glow in the sunlight. She is hilarious and always wears her hair in a low ponytail. She has a bunch of little freckles. When I get home after school I open my bright white door and feel oh so cozy. My living room is where my family and I do our side quests. We like to watch movies and play fun games. In my kitchen we build legos,draw silly little pictures and just enjoy each other's company while we eat. In my room I snuggle up to my cat while my led lights flicker and I feel more at home than ever. That's what home means to me. Thank you for reading and enjoy your day.
