The Meaning of Home

Home has many meanings, but to me it feels like a place I can trust to keep me safe from anything. At home I am never hungry, sad, mad or angry at my parents. First, they always take good care of me. I have a lot of toys that my parents got me. Home is a special place where I can be myself. Home is a place where you can share your emotions with your family. You always love your family and your pets no matter what. Me and my family’s favorite holiday is Christmas. It is Christmas because it means the most to us. Home makes me feel like a place where I can play, laugh and have fun with my family. Next, we have one pet. It is a dog. The dog's name is Willow. My life is amazing because we have a great house and a great family. We always have fun together in our home even when it is a rainy or stormy day. My home smells like a lot of yummy food in the oven, perfume, my dog, my mom’s favorite candle, essential oils, fresh laundry and hockey equipment. Home makes me feel that good things are going to happen like you are going to get surprised by someone. Home is just a place where me and my sister play together and a place where we celebrate each other's birthdays and holidays and New Years together. At home we always try to be nice to each other. Also, my family is a family like no other family I have seen before. My family is nice, kind, careful, loving and always the best. Home is a place to be grateful, cozy, warm and funny. Finally, I love to have a home, and I know everyone loves to have a home. I hope that everyone has a safe place to stay.
