What makes a home?
A home is a place that you feel warm, safe and feel wrapped in love.
A home is a place where you can be forgiven and cared about.
A home is not just a place, it's a feeling, it’s a story that you build over time with the people that you love and care about.
A home is where you can let your guard down. It’s physical shelter, but also emotional safety: somewhere you can rest, recover, and simply exist without performance.
Home is where you can just be you. That might be with family, friends, a partner, a community, or even just with yourself.
Belonging often matters more than the building itself.
Home is something that you can be a part of without actually trying to fit in because the other people in that home love you.
A home provides grounding, it’s a base you return to. It doesn’t have to be forever, and it doesn’t have to be owned.
Even a temporary room can feel like home if it supports your life.
Home often reflects who you are or who you’re becoming. The way you arrange your space, the things you choose to keep, and even the people you welcome in.
The way you feel at home all reflects on your personality, your self-esteem and the way you act in different situations.
A home is a non-tangible item that you can't touch but only feel. It basically shapes your whole life.
This is what home is to me.
