Home Is Not On a Street
Home is special because home is where family is, it is also where you might feel safe, warm and make new memories. Home is not just a place but also where you can be yourself.
My family makes me feel like home isn't just a building. My mom still lets me cuddle with her in a warm, cozy, soft bed. My dad lets me help him in the warm garage. My sisters hug me tight when I get home from school even when they are late leaving for work. My little turtle Frankusha tries to foul around and she always makes me giggle. That’s what makes me feel at home.
Memories are the one thing that nobody can take away. Memories what makes me feel at home. I remember playing monopoly with my sisters and always losing but ending up with the best night. My memories of my showcase still haunt me when I couldn't breath and my family helped me. It helped me remember that sometimes memories are okay to have tragic moments; it's about who you're with and how they can help you.
A warm, safe home is the best thing I can imagine. The house is always warm, filled with love it makes me feel like a cloud. I think of home as a cozy bundle of warm, soft blankets just being wrapped around me. Home is an amazing place with warmth every Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter. The hard floor heats up from the oven. That's what a warm, loving home means to me
Unfortunately not everyone has a warm, loving home. In addition to writing this essay I hope that every family can have their own memories and warm loving home.
