Home is not just a building

For me home isn't a place. Home is the people I love and care about. It is not a building, it’s much more, it is comfort, memories and family. Home is comfort. Whether it's watching horror movies on the weekend near the fireplace snuggled up or playing board games together , I find comfort in spending time with my family. Home is memories, small moments with your family that you will always remember. My family and I go to Florida together every year and I feel at home. We make memories together and enjoy all the small moments . My family always finds small moments and makes them into memories forever. Like the day I won MVP for basketball a smile lit up on my face and my family and I went out for dinner to celebrate. That's a small little moment that turned into a memory that I will never forget. My favorite part of home is family. Home is my mom, dad and sisters. My two favorite people are my mom and dad. They make home feel like home. Without my mom I would not have someone to look up to and help me through all the hard times. Without my dad I would not be able to laugh and have someone who helps me study. I would not be able to feel love if I did not have my parents. My two sisters make me feel at home. Without my sisters I would not have two built-in best friends.
