What a Home Means to Me

A home is a positive, relaxing and happy place to live and grow up in with family. I get a warm bed and a room to sleep in at night. I also have things that I want like an Ipad or other electronics that some kids don't have. Sometimes when I get home I smell food from the kitchen like bread or cookies. Sometimes I also help cook food with my mom like chocolate chip or sugar cookies. A home to me is a nice place to live in but to other kids it might be a bad place because in their home there might be child abuse or parents arguing. Also a home is more than some walls and a roof. It's a place where you remember where your home is and where things are in your home. A house does not have to look good or be big it just has to feel like home and when I am in my home I feel safe.
