A house and a home

House​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ is the place that can hold in its walls a range of different feelings. It can offer happiness to some, but also sadness to others, and nowadays even a bit of confusion too. A house is the place where you see the same people, someone asks you about your day, and you get the glow of the hearth even in the chilliest weather. Still, the house may also be a cause of love lost and tears. There are times when people separate, changes take place, and the rooms that were once filled with the joyous noise become too quiet. Sometimes you may be looking at an old photo, and a memory knocks at your door, and you are hit with a feeling of deep sorrow. This is also the house, missing the times that used to be. Moreover, a house is a significant place for the celebration of happiness. It is the place where laughing is done until one's side hurts and where good news can be spread and made known. It is the place where a person can find himself/herself. Here is where the schooling is, the changes of character, and even the thoughts of the past in the later years. not always just a building. Sometimes a house is the person you know best, or a pet that comes running to you, or even just a place which opens its arms to you. It could be a hug, your favorite song or a scent that brings back the memory of a dear one. Home comprises different feelings: joyful, sad, exciting, scary, and grateful. It is that very place which makes you, supports you, and will always be in your heart no matter where you ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌go.
