The Meaning of Home

Home can mean so many different things to different people. Home is a great place to express and be yourself around the people you love most. Home is a haven and a comfortable place. It could be a place that you live in with family or friends or maybe you live alone but home doesn't always have to be where you live. Home could even be a group of people that you feel safe and comfortable with and that you can tell the truth around and share personal things like grief, loss, and school troubles. Some of the things that home means to me are Family, A place to be MYSELF, and a place where I can talk and vent freely without judgment. Family for me is a big part of my life and the meaning of home. I always feel safe and comfortable when I am around family and friends and I feel like I can talk to them. They are never judgemental or question anything I say and don't share it. My immediate family consists of my mom, my dad, and my younger sister Ava. My sister Ava and I don't get along that well but sometimes she can be nice to me. My family is super important to me and I could never change them for the world. Another big thing for me that represents the meaning of home is that it is a place where I can be myself and vent freely to people who won't judge me or question my troubles. I love to decorate my space and make it feel like it is a space that expresses my emotions and feelings. I really do love my family and my friends.
