What does home mean to me

Home is a place I stay and stand, a place that I won't leave again. Home is Canada, home is love, home is a place I live and love. Home can be Canada, home can be the entire sea, home can anything in between from the entire ocean to the space above the earth. Home is a place I feel cozy and warm, a place I'm comfortable head to toe. Home is a place where I'm safe from war, a place where people fight no more. Home can even be a place where you learn many wonders you didn't know. Home is a place with family and friends to support you. Home is a place where people listen to you, a place that we are all included. Home isn't only a place, an area or a person's home can be many different things for different people like a simple book, a big soccer ball or even shows on tv. Home is something, somewhere or somebody that makes me happy and gives me joy! Home is a place where I can be me, a place that we all belong. For me home is Diwali, home is Pongal, home is Tamil, home is a prayer to gods. Home is a part of my culture where I belong but we all need to know that not everyone has found their home a safe place that they belong. Home can be anything in between but for me home is already right here.
