A House, A Home

By: Victoria.Wen Peoples always talk, a house is a house, a home is a home. A house is a place, a building. A home is a place where happiness and kindness is stored. A home contains not only a person, but a family, a loving family, a happy family. House is where I live, House is where you live, House is where she/he lives, House is a place where we live. But, home is the harbour of love for everyone. House, a place where warmth is temporary, a place of shelter, a screen of the sector. A home is not like that. A home is somewhere I take refuge in storms, where love can form. A home is somewhere I get support, encouragement without norms. A house is walls, A home is a heart. Forever linked yet worlds apart Whenever sleep closes your eyes, nestled in draping fabrics. It’s always “it’s good to be home”. When is it ever a house that comfort fabricated? And you had created more domes. Where stabilized buildings had caused additional love to form. World’s apart yet forever linked. And I am seeking the connection. In a word, a house or a home is not an address, nor a state of stones. It means love, warmth, support, and sweet memories that have grown. Home, a lasting house, a loving family’s oath: the witness of my childhood growth, the meeting point of love. THE END 😀😀😀
