My home is not just a place I live in
My home is not just a place I live in. It’s where I grew up, where I make memories with my family, where I feel happy and safe. My bedroom is where I stay the most. It’s where I jump in my bed and I sleep with all my stuffies. I feel happiest when I’m in my living room, I have the most fun in my living room. My living room is where I watch movies with my family. I always cuddle with my mom on the couch and let the sun shine on us to make us warm and cozy. I’m not always happy in my house. Sometimes I get frustrated when my sisters are annoying. I get angry at them when they do that to me. But of course, they do that they are my sisters. In the kitchen the smell of my mom’s cooking roams the house and makes me cheerful. In the kitchen me and my family and friends sit at the table and talk at dinner time. The sounds of laughter fill the room and make me happy. My basement is where I played when I was 5 years old. It’s where I played tag in the dark with my family and friends. My basement is where my inner child comes out. My back yard is where I swing on the swing set and sit in the sun. On the deck in the back yard is where I have dinners and host my birthday parties. I love playing in the sprinkler when it’s hot outside. I make lots of memories in my back yard and in my house too. I love my mom’s room because I get to sleep there sometimes. I love her room because I can cuddle with her in the morning when she wakes up. My house is my favorite place in the world. And that is what home means to me.
