A New Home

Hi, I’m Lily and I’m from Mexico. I was from a small town in Mexico, but I recently moved to Canada with my mom dad and three older brothers. On my first day of school, I was nervous because I barely knew anybody there, except Mia she was my long-distance friend. We had finally met in person. It was amazing to finally meet her. She was nice. After that I made a lot of new friends. It was amazing! We went to fancy restaurants, played sports like, soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, hockey and a lot more. It was the best, except this one girl named Leah who bullied everyone. It was so annoying. One day she didn’t go to school. I knew something was wrong she never missed a day of school. I’m not going to lie, but it was kind of boring without her. After a few weeks, I learned she got expelled and she started to go to a different school. Not far from here it was great not that she got expelled and nobody was getting bullied any more. After school I started going to her house and it was so fun. She wasn’t mean she was just protecting herself because she used to get bullied really bad, so she started talking back. She asked for forgiveness. “I’m sorry for bullying you.” “I forgive you.” “Really?” “Yeah, you need another chance.” “Thank you, do you want to be best friends forever?” “Yes, I would love that. I think I like it here in my new home.”
