Home is where the heart is

A home isn't just four walls and a roof. A home isn't just a house on a piece of land. It is much more than that. Home is where your family is. Home is a place to share old and new memories with family and friends. It is the yard and the people within the home that make it valuable. It is somewhere I can feel safe. I know being at home I can feel all my emotions no matter how big or how small they may seem. At home I know I am supported no matter what. I know that I can make mistakes. I know that I can succeed. But most importantly, I know that I still am supported through it all. Home means I can feel comfy and cozy watching movies with my family. I love nothing more than coming home after a long week and curling up on the couch with my family on a Friday night and watching a movie. Home means I can have my own space to have a good night sleep. It also means that I can have my own privacy to have a relaxing bubble bath and wash away the cares of the world. At home the food is fresh and good any day. As soon as I get home from school all the aromas fill the air of the food cooking on the stove top or baking in the oven. At home the food is better than any where else. Home means you can have a family dinner together. It is a time to share about our day and connect. A home is a feeling of the love surrounding you. My home is with my mom, dad, two brothers and my dog Ginny. Home is where the heart is.
