What Home Means to Me

Home is not a house. Home is not only a place to play video games and watch TV, it is also about the gracious aromas from the kitchen, baking cookies or fresh scones. It is a place that comforts you. Always be content for what you have because not everyone is as lucky as you. Feeling cozy in your bed to fall asleep during a massive storm. Reading to your family members gives you a sense of serenity and warmth. You will always feel welcome and safe when you are with your family. I always feel comforted when I have someone to count on because family is the biggest part of your home. Your home will always have a special place in your heart. My home makes me feel comfy and cozy. Home is reading a beautiful story or playing in the backyard with your siblings and drinking a cup of hot chocolate. Home is a place to help cook dinner or curl up by a fire with a blanket while smelling the sweet aroma of a burning candle from the dining room. You feel amused with your family and always feel great. A home is where you grow up and your friends and family watch you do wonderful things. Your friends and family give you huge amounts of love. They make you feel welcome in different ways. With my friends, we always have amusing dance parties. My home is like a warm blanket, it shields and shelters me when the air is cold and frosty. You may move away one day, but your childhood home will always be there in your heart. You will always have good memories. I don’t always feel great about myself, but I will always feel better after I work out my feelings. My home will be there for me from the beginning to the end.
