What Home Means To Me

In a house, the shade is soft, silent, and serene, But in a home, there’s love and lots of hugs. Here in a house, there’s furniture, kitchens, and more. Here in a home, there’s much more old toys that bring back joy. ~ When inside a house, I feel the breeze around me, But in a home, I feel love that never goes. In a lovely house, I smell the basement walls, faded around, But in my lovely home, I smell my favorite food, hot and known. ~ When I look around a house, I see a beautiful environment. When I encounter a home, I see me and my siblings sliding down the stairs, laughing with joy and excitement. ~ A house at night has a silent vibe and still furniture. A home at night is filled with laughter, silliness, board games, joy, and love. I look around a house and see the sun gleaming through the window. I look around a home and see family, toys, and things I enjoy. I feel love, joy, silliness, and so much more. I smell delicious food, perfume, warmth in the air and happiness from my heart. ~ At the end of the day, It's love that makes our house a home. I love you, home.
