Ava’s Lovely Home
One day a little bunny named Ava woke up and went to Bunny Elementary. Ava got into class and Mrs. Elanor announced, “There will be a brainstorming project about what home means to you. Moving on, it’s time for the joke of the day! What do you call a snowman that is a girl? A snowmam!”
For the rest of school Ava thought about what home meant and when she got home after school she asked her Dad what home means, “home means a roof over your head and people you love” He answered. Ava did not expect this answer. “Okay thank you!” she said. “Why did you need my opinion anyways? ” Dad asked.
“oh I have an independent project about what home means to me.” she answered. She then ran to her mother to ask the same question, “Mom! Mom!” “What honey?” Her mother asked. What does home mean to you?”
Ava asked impatiently. “Home means laughing with your sisters until you cannot breathe.” Mom answered. “Thank you.” Ava said before going along and asking her sisters Shay and Mila. The Next day Mrs. Elanor called on Ava up to the front of the class to share what she came up with,
“Home means a place you will never be judged. Home is a place you can be yourself. Home is a place where your mom calls you for dinner as you race to the dinning table where delicious food awaits. Home is a place to rest. Home is a place to have fun. Home stands for H. Hope, O. Optimism, M. Magical, E. Empathy. Home is warmth and happiness.” Ava exclaimed excitedly. “ Good job Ava! That was amazing” ! Mrs. Elanor commented.
The entire class started clapping for Ava. Ava was very proud of herself and she skipped home.
