What Home Means To Me

When I'm at home I like to ask questions, I like to be myself, I like to live freely. All of which are available in my home, but some might not be in yours and that is not okay. You should be able to live freely in your home, be yourself! But if you don’t have that option in your home then that’s not a home at all, it’s a house. The difference between a home and a house is major! In a home you feel like you can do anything, but in a house you feel trapped and unable to breathe and that is the difference between a home and a house. That's what home is and what it will and always be! If you feel uneasy or scared in a so-called home, it’s not a home but a house. Even when you have no furniture in a house, it can still be a home. A home doesn’t need a fancy chandelier, but just the people and things you love the most. That is all you need to feel like you are in a home! A home is a sanctuary, but a house is the complete opposite. That’s what home means to me!
