My Home

My home makes me feel safe. It means that nothing bad will happen. Habitat for Humanity is doing something good because people need homes because they need a roof over their head and they also need food and water and family. In my kitchen I eat my mom's chocolate chip cookies with her. I feel joyful. Sometimes I bake with her, but I also like eating cookie dough. I wish everyone had a kitchen so they could eat cookie dough. My room is where I can be me. I like sleeping in my room because my bed is comfortable and I feel safe. I have this special blanket when I put it on, it makes me feel safe. I think everyone should have a room with a special blanket so they can feel safe. In my living room my whole family has movie nights. We try different popcorn, with stuff on it like Reese's Pieces or Skittles. I wish everyone would have a living room so then they could have a movie night and try cool stuff on their popcorn. I have a lot of memories in my house, when I was growing up. Like when I was four I was reading my brother a story and he wasn't always listening, so I bonked him on the head. I bet everyone has memories in their home. Everyone deserves a home to have fun and be themselves. My house is my home. I have fun in my home. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building us homes.
