Home Is A Place To Belong

Home is a place to belong, to feel safe, and to relax. Home is my family being together, celebrating birthdays and holidays times. Home is baking banana muffins with my mom, It's as messy as an episode of ‘Nailed it’. Home is playing sports with my dad, he's like coach Steve Kerr in the basement and backyard. Home is a world of teasing my siblings every day. It’s like being in a silly cartoon. Home is a place where I use my imagination, inventing fun games to play with my friends. Home is cooking steak on special occasions. Sometimes I’m like a celebrity chef. Home is where timeout is to learn about my mistakes. Timeouts are a technical foul, like in basketball. Home is where chores are not punishments, they’re preparing me for the future. Home is a cozy steaming mug of hot chocolate. Home is so relaxed I can call it Pura-Vida.
