Home sweet Home

Home sweet Home By Kiyomi My home is my bookshelf full of memories, looking at the things I did in the past. Home is a place where I cuddle in my blanket reading the best book, then I remember that homes don’t always last. In the past, I left where I lived to start a fresh start, and it was hard, but I knew the adventure was going to be a blast. Home is a place where my mum is cooking, where she puts in her spice, making it taste extremely nice. My home is where I lay on the summer grass, cooling off with lemonade filled with ice. Home is a place where my sisters gather round for a board game, debating who’s going to roll the dice. My home is where I sit by the crackling fire, drinking hot chocolate that keeps me toasty. Home is a place where I lie down in bed, trying to avoid all the dreams that are ghostly. Home is a place that I sit beside when I feel lonely. My home is a place that I’m proud of, and that’s why I award it first place with a trophy. Home is a place where you can soar through the air, feeling truly at peace. A place where you open the door, where there's awaiting your family-friends and distant nieces. Home is where your life rests like solved puzzle pieces. No one deserves to be alone and that’s why… Everyone needs a home!
