What home means to me

Home and a house are different to me, a home is personal (as your house), a house is a building, and a home has a family and emotions like joy, love and excitement. Also, a home has senses, like when I come back from school, I see my dog runs down the stairs because he is so excited to see me, hear my dog bark when someone knocks on the door because he is excited that there is a visitor coming to my home and I can smell my mom’s yummy Peruvian foods. I hope I helped Habitat for Humanity by turning houses to home, raised a lot of money and many people who don’t have homes to live in. From: Ethan Ross. To: Habitat for Humanity. School: Courtland Park International school, St. Bruno, Quebec. Teacher: miss Julie J. Grade: grade 4
