What home means

Home is more than a roof above your head. It's a family who cares about you, a person to hug you, love you, help you. Family is not just related by blood, but by love. I have so many memories in this house laughing with my sister, playing with my brother, cuddling with my dad, cooking with my mom, I hear when my sister’s and my brother’s alarms go off, after they snooze it a million times. These memories are going to stay in my heart forever no matter what happens. My sister is amazing, she does competitive gymnastics, and she likes to practice in the basement. She loves to teach me. She takes some of her own time to teach me. My brother is the best of the best at hockey, he plays for the Ottawa west golden knights. My dad even made us a backyard rink to practice on, my brother loves hockey He teaches me all the time. My dad loves playing board games with me, we spend time in the living room or the dining room. He likes dancing with me in the hallway. He's picking me up, spinning me around and round. My mom loves cooking and I love helping her, my favourite meal that she cooks is tofu and broccoli. This meal makes me feel happy and cheerful. I love hanging out with her I always feel loved when I am around my family.
