Where you Belong
What does home mean to me?
Home means warmth of the fire, love and memories. Memories make me happy and feel loved.
Home is where I feel safe. I am accepted for who I am and I don’t have to hide anything.
Home is a family. My brother, parents, friends, grandparents, my grandparents' pets, and cousins are my family and home.
Home is where I belong.
Home means fresh smells of freshly baked cookies or food cooking in the oven for dinner.
Home means love. I am loved by my family and friends.
It means believing in people you care about.
It means emotions. I don’t have to hide how I’m truly feeling and people will support me. They will also help me feel better if I’m feeling upset.
Home is a feeling. I feel at home when I am with my family and friends. When I feel like I'm at home I get a warm and cozy feeling. That feeling feels good and then I know that where I am and who I'm with is my home.
Home isn't a building with 4 walls, a roof, doors and a couple windows.
Home isn't a place.
Home is people who support you, who love you, and care for you.
Home is a family.
It's where you belong.
