What Home Means to Me
My home is a place where I can sleep at night and take naps when I am feeling tired or sick. Home is where I can watch TV and relax by myself or with my family. Home is a place where I can go after school when I am tired and I can relax. When I come home from school to watch TV and have a nice snack I feel happy and calm. But if I come home and feel like doing something active I can play mini sticks or catch by myself or with my family.
Home is a place where I eat breakfast, lunch or supper at the dinner table or on the couch for family movie night. I can cook food at home on the stove or bake delicious cakes and desserts with my loving Mom. I can go to fridge or a pantry when I am hungry and I am thankful for enough money to buy food.
If my home vanished I would feel sad and lonely. Home is a shelter when it rains or thunders. Home is very comfy, welcoming and safe. The coziest place in my house is my bed, which I have had for at least five years now! Home is the most comfy place in the world! Home is where I live, where I am safe and where my belongings are. Home is where I share love and laughter with my family.
Home is not just four walls and a roof. Home is cozy and kind. Home is a place where you can have big gatherings and parties with family and friends. Home means a lot to me. Home has a loving, heart-warming spirit. Whenever I go away and I come home, I feel welcomed.
This is what home means to me.
