meaning of home

Home to me is where my family and I'll feel safe. Not everyone has a home, so I am grateful that I do. I have a place to sleep and a place to make my lunch for school. It is a place where my mom, dad, brother, and sister all love me, and I love them too. I can play in my backyard and I will be safe. I can feel warmth, and I can hear all sorts of noises. Home is a place where I can feel the warmth of the air, and I can hear the birds chirping, and I can smell the delicious food that my parents make for me and my siblings. I can play games with my parents like Uno, and I can play PlayStation. I can wake up in the morning and I can get my lunch ready for school. Home is also a place where I can make things for my family, like I can make cookies or I can make art for them. But it is also a place where I can make things for myself. I love to make Lego sets, and when I finish, they just sit around. I want to make a shelf for my room where I can put all of the Lego that I have made. So when people come over, I can show them all of the Lego I have built. I am happy when I am at home because I can play games and I can feel safe. My home is not just a roof and some walls; it is a place that some people will work all day to have. It is a place where my family and I do all sorts of things together, so home to me is not a home without my family.
