A House is a Place, a Home is More

I live in a home not a house. A house is usually just four walls but a home is more. A home is a place of love,a space where no loneliness roams. A place for peace and kindness where stars align a beacon of hope. I do not like leaving home if it means leaving my family. When I enter my home I see wondrous pictures hung on the wall with care. Pictures of pets and drawings.Toys litter the floor. On the table dishes are placed for dinner.Where families big and small gather for meals. Dinner is a place for families to reunite and unfold. I see unique furniture in spaces where they fit. I smell interesting scents.I smell the fresh scent of plants, the lovely scent!Freshly baked cookies stack neatly in the kitchen, the scent filling up my nostrils.The smell of fire, the crackle, the pops, the sounds of fire for when family comes to visit! I Taste the air, the fresh air. The taste of a home cooked meal, the delicacies of home cooked meals. The sweet tasted of a nice delicious treat. The Touch is very important. I feel the fluffy soft fur of my pets, they are my family too.My bed is as soft as can be.It is a nice place to be! Sound can echo through a home. It bounces around being heard by the many ears. The sounds of storms, time to cuddle up and get warm. The voices of children running around and screaming, their screeches of delight and happiness. I love my home but love my family more! I am so happy to live in a home and not a house!
