Home is Love

Home is where you can be yourself, express the real you, that you love and care about. Home is where you feel safe. That's how you know that it's your home. Home is where you can be with family and create memories that will be unforgettable. It is like a portrait; once you fill the portrait with memories, it will fill with colours. It does not matter if you are not in your home, all that matters is if you feel happy and safe wherever you are. Home is considered home if you actually are with your family and friends. With loved ones, even the ones who passed away. Every year when it's almost midnight on New Years, my family and I go to the balcony at 11:59 PM. We wait until midnight, so that we can say happy New Year. When I was really young, I moved into a new apartment. It was really scary and it didn’t feel like home yet, but with the support of family, it started feeling like home, and I belonged there. In a home you sense the feeling of kindness filling the air, with the feeling that you can just come in and feel like you belong there, and memories that are going to happen. All the things that you know are going to happen. The home echoes through the house that you can hear from the other side of the house. Home means where you can live your fairytale lives and follow dreams that look impossible, but they are not. Sometimes memories bring back old memories. Every memory that you have at home is a walk into the future where endless possibilities can happen, and where you can be brave and step out of your comfort zone. You get to explore the world and be yourself. That is what home is.
