Meaning of Home

My name is Hope and there is a lot to say about my home. There are six people living in my house, but seven if we’re including my dog (who is super cute- her name is Mookie, like Mookie Blaylock, the baseball player). Along with my mom, dad, sister, amazing twin brother Vedder (like the guitarist, Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam). The seventh person is my auntie. She came from Nunavut in the arctic. I love everyone in my family so much. Most people would think that a home is just four walls with a kitchen, toilet, and some bedrooms. But, I think a home is somewhere where so many memories are made: some courageous, funny, sad, scary and even embarrassing. From losing a tooth, getting a car for your sweet sixteen, and then moving out- all of those memories are kept in that home. That’s why homes are so important to everyone. I think every person, every pet, should live their life free and to get to feel the breeze in their hair. Like everything I said, because you only get one life to live. So make that a great life. Get out of your comfort zone, push yourself, keepi pushing and you’ll feel it- you'll feel what a home really is.
